The Old Reed Bed is an informal collective of professional artists and makers who come together twice a year to show their work in a small studio complex located on the edge of Halstow Creek, North Kent. All have either a current or past connection with the studios established by Jean Lowe in the grounds of her home in 1990. Guest artists from across the region, working in both fine and applied arts, are often invited to join the Old Reed Bed group for their biannual events.
Christmas Open Studios 2011 will take place on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 December from 11am – 5pm each day. (Please click on the News page for further details).
